A long-time Indianapolis senior commercial real estate executive has joined Indianapolis-headquartered Strategic Capital Partners. John Cumming has been named senior vice president of development for SCP. He will expand SCP’s industrial footprint in Indianapolis and other markets and be involved in SCP’s office and mixed-use developments.
Strategic Capital Partners was formed in 2005 as a commercial and urban multi-use development company. Strategic Capital Partners focuses on providing value-added solutions to tenants and investors, and has decades of experience in developing and acquiring office, industrial and mixed use properties. This past summer Rubenstein Partners and Strategic Capital Partners acquired Parkwood Crossing Office Park in Indianapolis from Duke Realty for $162.9 million.
Prior to joining SCP, Cumming was senior vice president of Buckingham Companies. He managed company development operations and the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio.
